Situated on the Southside of the Delaney Park Strip along 10th Avenue, these contemporary townhouses are nearing completion. This project combined two lots between G and H Streets and displaced the well-known Shonbeck house, a historic home in the rapidly changing South Addition neighborhood. Thankfully the home was saved by a neighborhood resident and preservationist.

Built by Hultquist Homes, the townhouse design appears to be very similar to the recently completed development to the West on the 800 block of 10th Avenue which is also a 4-unit side by side configuration with rooftop decks.

While technically in South Addition (not downtown) this type of development is putting more residential density near the CBD and will likely spur new development nearby. Despite the high cost of entry, (units start at $749,000) this is a positive indicator of downtown growth.
